problem:
Kate had a very simple site that had a few of her paintings posted, but she needed that "wow" factor to present her work to more galleries.

solution:
We visited her home and got a sense of the scale of the paintings (which was quite large). We made sure there was at least one photo on the home page that showed her sitting next to her work to show how large it was. Inspired by her collage series, we created a text quote behind the pages and a layered and textured feel to the banners, complimenting them with a minimal but classic logo.

green highlights:
Kate sent digital photos of all her work, along with taking digital photos of the themes, all through email. Even though we were about 40 minutes apart by car, we opted for one in-person meeting at the beginning and the rest by phone and email to cut down on driving for both of us.
